We opened VIOSA Aesthetics MD because we saw a gap between what aesthetic medicine promises and what most patients actually receive. Too many people were being sold a treatment before anyone had asked what they wanted or whether they were even a candidate for it.
Our approach is rooted in personalized care, medical professionalism, and a real passion for helping patients look and feel their best. Jose Ruiz, M.D. brings a foundation in Internal Medicine to every consultation, which means the evaluation comes before the recommendation. Marissa Ruiz, RN, BSN brings the warmth that makes a clinical setting feel human.
We serve patients throughout Northridge and the greater Los Angeles area, and we also travel to you through our concierge and in home services.

We believe every treatment plan should be built for the individual sitting in front of us, with results that feel refined, natural, and aligned with the goals you actually came in with. Nobody should walk out of here looking like they had work done. They should walk out looking rested.

Meet the Team Behind VIOSA Aesthetics MD
I am board certified in Internal Medicine, and I own and operate VIOSA Aesthetics MD. I serve as the Medical Director and the prescribing physician for every service we offer here.
That internal medicine background changes how I practice aesthetics. I look at your health history before I look at your treatment options, because the safest outcome always starts with knowing who I am treating. I am also verified through Empire Medical Training, and I continue advanced training in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.

I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I work alongside Jose as co-provider here at VIOSA Aesthetics MD.
My focus is on making your visit feel comfortable and unhurried. Aesthetic treatment can feel intimidating the first time, so I spend the time to walk you through what is happening, answer the questions you actually have, and make sure you never feel rushed through a decision. I am also verified through Empire Medical Training.
